MENSTRUAL AND MENOPAUSAL POLICY

The Victorian Women’s Trust trialled a Menstruation Policy for their workplace in 2015. A year later  it was fine-tuned and permanently implemented, when it was found to support greater productivity and a happier work environment. Media attention around their menstrual workplace policy attracted an audience of over 6.2 million people to May 2021. An digital manual covering this process, guidelines for workplaces wanting to implement their own, and an overview of workplace policy around the world, is due to be released later in 2021.

The Ourselves at Work guide is now available free as a pdf, or a paper copy can be purchased, from the Victorian Women’s Trust.
